- 80 g white onions
- 50 g dried apples
- 150 g apple juice
- Game broth (quantity as needed)
- Flour
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- Salt
- Pepper
Mashed potatoes:
- 1 kg of potatoes
- 300g milk
- 100 g butter
- Salt
PRODUCTION PROCESS
Stew:
- Cut the meat into pieces, fry it in a pan and put it in a pot.
- Simmer for 2-3 hours until tender.
- Pour oil into a pot, fry the chopped onions. Add the stewed meat, add the remaining meat broth, apple juice and game broth. Add the chopped dried apples, bring to a boil.
- Add flour to the stew (according to the desired thickness), mix well. Add sour cream, spices, and cook a little longer.
Mashed potatoes:
- Place the peeled potatoes in a pot of cold water and boil until tender. In another pot, bring the milk and butter to a boil.
- Drain the boiled potatoes, mash them with a hand mixer, add hot milk and butter, salt to taste, and mix well.
Tip: To let the stew reveal its full aroma, let it stand for 10-15 minutes before serving - this way the flavors will blend even better!
